Alain Robbe-Grillet

George de Saxe, banquier veuf et riche, a cru que sa fille Carolina avait été kidnappée. Il décide alors de la faire surveiller par un détective. Celui-ci suggère de mettre la jeune fille à l'abri dans la maison close d'une certaine Erica. Dans cet antre du plaisir, les pensionnaires sont soumises à toutes sortes de sévices sexuels... Erotique, ludique et volontiers surréaliste, s'éloignant de ses romans à tiroirs, le célèbre auteur des "Gommes" et de "La Jalousie" décline, dans les années 70, ses films les plus fous et décomplexés. Après "Glissements progressifs", "Le Jeu avec le feu" est l'un des meilleurs, traversé par les acteurs phares de l'époque et les plus jolies jeunes actrices du moment.
